We are happy to announce that our next cycle in Cohort D, centred on Pressure Injuries and Other Wound Types, is starting back this week on Wednesday May 6th, 2026! Along with Dr. Gary Sibbald and the ECHO Skin and Wound Interprofessional Team, we will also have other guest speakers from other healthcare designations for the didactics, including Occupational Therapists, Surgeons, Dietitians, etc. As always, these ECHO sessions are free and are held virtually through Zoom Work

This 1-day ECHO Skin and Wound in-person skills training session is focused on strengthening clinicians’ ability to identify, assess, and manage patients at risk for leg and foot complications, including diabetic foot ulcers and lower limb amputations.

Project ECHO® Ontario Skin and Wound is a province-wide learning community for Ontario-based health care providers with an interest in skin and wound care. Using the internationally recognized Project ECHO model—moving knowledge, not patients—the program connects community clinicians with an interprofessional team of experts through live, virtual sessions that blend brief didactic teaching with participant-led, de-identified case discussions.
