Biography
Tamara Korkomaz holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Anatomy, with a strong foundation in clinical and research settings. She has experience in dermatology, including clinical trials, patient recruitment, and data collection, as well as psychodermatology, where she is a published author with work featured by Springer. She is also an active member of the Student Interest Social Media Group for the Association for Psychoneurocutaneous Medicine of North America (APMNA), located in the United States.
Her background in patient care coordination, alongside her interest in the brain–skin connection, has shaped a patient-centred approach that integrates both psychological and physical aspects of care. She is passionate about advancing holistic approaches to patient care and supporting individuals through complex healthcare experiences.
Tamara is currently a Research Coordinator at WoundPedia, where she contributes to clinical research and education in wound care. In her role, she also supports patient care in the clinic and leads social media strategy and outreach initiatives.
